Two fond farewells: We are sad to announce that Jean Major has decided to hang up her website administrator's hat but delighted that she has passed it on to owner, Nikita Whitfield. Many thanks to Jean for her sterling efforts and thanks to Nikita for agreeing to take the job on.
Secondly, property manager, Emma-Jayne Pepper of Warwick Estates will be replaced by colleague Amy Graham in early November. We are extremely sad to see Emma move on and thank her for her efforts over the past couple of years. We wish Amy every success in her new role. You can email Amy at: Amy.Graham@we-pm.co.uk
Hurrah, main gates are back in action: At last the main gates are working once again. The engineers believe that the gates were forced open and this caused the motors to be damaged and fail. Warwick Estates say the insurers have agreed to cover a significant amount of the costs of replacing the damaged motors, which is good news.
Don’t leave it to someone else: Please remember that owners can report any issues relating to the ECAs (external common areas) via your customer login to the Warwick Estates website. If you are not sure what your unique customer login number is then please contact Amy.Graham@we-pm.co.uk
Is BT intercepting your messages? For anyone on the estate who still has a BT landline, you’ll probably know that BT has discontinued the traditional delivery service and replaced it with digital technology. What you may not realise is that if you have an answerphone connected to your landline that BT may be intercepting your messages. Make sure your answerphone is set to “kick in” after, say, 5 rings, before the BT service picks up your calls. Check it out further by Internet search or via BT by calling its answer service on 1571.
Watch out there could be a thief about: As we approach Christmas please be extra vigilant when it comes to your home security. Try to pick up any unattended packages for your neighbours and make sure you always close entry doors and don’t just "buzz” callers in to your home etc. In the past we have had some thefts of packages, especially from the hallways of the apartment blocks.
