Green shoots still appearing in the gardens
The future planting programme is in the capable hands of our professional gardeners Sebastian and Charles, alongside resident David Brown. Planning new planting over the next few weeks is now feasible as some plants are clearly showing strong growth and those with no future can be removed. It is anticipated that any planting of shrubs or trees will not take place until later this year and/or early next year when watering will
not be such an issue. This time frame will also enable Emma-Jayne and the board to consider and decide on the proposals put forward.
We are still seeing great improvements in the management the rest of the grounds,
carried out by Dan Corbett of DC Garden Services. If you have any issues email:
emma-jayne.pepper@warwickestates.net and she will consider any request and instruct Dan
accordingly.
Tree surgery
On checking the growth of trees around the rest of estate we are finding that several of them will require pruning this coming autumn. It is known that trees help to clean our air, so it is s heartening to see that many of our trees are growing vigorously.
Bamboo concerns
There have been some concerns expressed by residents about the continuing growth of bamboo shoots in the gardens. This is normal under the circumstances and may continue for a while as bamboo is a very vigorous plant and requires some years of treatment. The contract with The Knotweed Company runs until 2028, and any growth beyond that will still be dealt with by them.
