Estate gets a spring clean ready for summer
You can’t have failed to notice that there has been a lot of hard work going on around the estate in the last few months.
Green shoots appear
Following a programme of severe pruning, we are pleased to see the appearance of green shoots on many of the plants in the two communal gardens. Decisions on what replanting is required will be made as soon as we have a clearer picture.
Any new planting will be led and managed by our gardeners, Sebastian and Charles, who are being ably supported by resident David Brown and Warwick
Estates property manager Emma-Jayne Pepper.
Paths, pavements and drains
We have also seen some great improvements to the rest of the grounds, carried out by Dan Corbett of DC Garden Services. If you haven’t had a chance, take a
look at the work he's carried out on the shrub border that bounds the estate with the riverside walk. In addition, Dan has cleaned off dirt and debris from the
estate's paved and parking areas. This was followed up by a a long term deep clean treatment. We would like to thank residents for their cooperation in
moving their cars during this process.
And not to forget the drains! A very important part of the estate’s infrastructure are the aco grills and water attenuation tanks, which have also received a thorough spring clean.
Tree removal
We’ve completed the unfortunate but necessary removal of some trees on the estate after we heeded warnings that they would grow very large and continue to cause damage to the paths. We are now looking at a plan to plant some less vigorous, but more ornamental trees in the grounds.
Please contact Emma-Jayne if you have any issues regarding the grounds and gardens.
