New property manager
Since our last bulletin we are pleased to say that Warwick Estates has appointed Emma-Jayne Pepper as our new property manager. Any concerns or issues relating to the external common areas can be reported
via email at Emma-jayne.pepper@warwickestates.net or owners can raise a ticket by logging on to the Warwick Estates customer portal.
......and same old chestnuts
Emma has already been on several visits to TOM and is working her way through the on-going list of issues. We won't repeat them here, but suffice it to say that there are many outstanding works, so we are hoping
that Emma will turn things around.
Outstanding accounts and land transfer
Board members are continuing to press Warwick Estates to finalise the outstanding yearly accounts for both 2021 and 2022, which are well overdue. Board member John Yeomans secured a significant rebate from EoN in relation to the estate's electricity bills and reflecting this data in the accounts has been just one of the stumbling blocks. We hope to have some further news regarding the progress of the land transfer to the RMC following the next board meeting in August.
Important changes to recycling - house residents to note
From 1 October 2024 Shropshire Council will be introducing an annual collection charge of £56.00 to empty green bins (large or small).
Payment for the service can be made from 1 September 2024 and food waste will no longer be allowed in green bins but must be placed in general waste or in a food caddy. Information on the Council website.
Communal gardens a place of peace?
A reminder that the communal gardens were not intended as a children's
playground, the developer made provision for play facilities at Castle Walk (see our website), which is a five-minute walk. Some residents are now reluctant to sit in the gardens due to noise, footballs and frisbees.
There are also reports of plants being trampled, so please be considerate.
