Service charge accounts 2024 - your bill is on its way.
Warwick Estates is in the process of issuing the 2024 service charge accounts to all owners for the estates external common areas. Some technical difficulties means that accounts are later than usual, but please look out for your bill either in the post or via email (if requested).
Once again we would urge owners to sign up for email delivery of material from Warwick Estates as this saves postage costs and reduces some admin charges. Please contact Warwick Estates if you are not signed up for email correspondence (see contact details below).
Cadman pedestrian gate - a work in progress
You may have noticed that we've had some additional height added to the pedestrian gate at the end of Cadman Place. This is to try and deter non-residents climbing the fence and using the estate as a cut through. We are still, however, having issues with the combination lock, which is being addressed. Unfortunately changes to this gate were made at the request of Shropshire Council and were not completed to a satisfactory standard.
Shropshire Council - is a handover imminent?
You will have noticed the extensive tree works carried out before Christmas at the Network Rail end of the riverside path. We understand that Shropshire Council requested the works, carried out by David Wilson Homes (DWH), as a prelude to the riverside land being transferred to the Council. We await developments. But don't hold your breath! We have asked Warwick Estates to contact DWH regarding the mess made by its contractors and reported the issues to Shropshire Council - but again, don't hold your breath for any action.
