Talking of hearts:

VALENTINE'S DAY
This is an important day for some celebrated on 14 February and named after the Italian Saint Valentine, who is also the patron saint of beekeepers and epilepsy. However, the red rose that is associated with the day is not February's flower. Instead, the month is linked to the violet and primrose. These tiny woodland plants of February brighten the landscape like purple, colourful slippers. Primroses, those lovely small perennial woodland plants, also bloom in wintertime.
