Happy Anniversary to The Old Meadow Website
We launched our website a year ago. During the year we have received positive feedback and numerous enquiries via the Contact Us page. Enquires come from a variety of sources mainly from existing and prospective residents. We have also received enquiries from abroad, the furthest being from someone in Taiwan.
In the twelve months to date we recorded 14,414 hits to the site.
These figures show that people are looking at the site with an average of 1200 hits per month.
As always I welcome any comments and ideas which you may have.
Your feedback would also be helpful.
On another note the three severe storms in the latter part of February brought wretched weather and flooding. As March arrives we look forward to the arrival of Spring and better, brighter weather.
The days are already getting longer and the clocks will go forward at the end of March.
For interest: The March birthstone is Aquamarine and Bloodstone that are very different in appearance but they share a similar reputation for protecting one’s well-being. The aquamarine birthstone evokes the colours of the sea, and it’s also called ‘the poor man’s diamond’.
The March birth flowers are the daffodil and the jonquil because they often bloom in early spring and they symbolise new birth, beginnings, happiness and joy. So as March arrives we look forward to the arrival of spring and better, brighter weather.
