ON THE BRIGHT SIDE June 2021

Well what a wash out May has been. Here's hoping for a brighter and sunnier June.
I had my garden landscaped and re planted so at least my new plants are well-watered.
My aim last month was to update the photographs on the Home page of the website with sunny views of the estate and surrounding views but given the bad weather this has not been possible.
I managed to update some of the photographs on the main banner and in the Gallery. Please take a look and if you have any photographs you would like to be included send them to me via the contact page.
The photograph here is of the Junction signal box which has been decorated recently. It has had a repaint and a repoint and looks very smart. Apparently it was quite a difficult job as the scaffolding had to be carried across the rail tracks via the access road and erected and taken down at night.
The sun rooms, at roof level, of the Mallard four-storey town houses (which overlook the gardens) were configured in the same style as the Junction signal box. More information on this can be found on the History page.
