Communal Gardens Landscaping - Stage 1 starts Monday 15 March 2021

This will involve removal of old planting, preparation of the beds and delivery of topsoil within the two communal gardens.

A skip is due to be delivered on Monday morning and will be sited beyond the two metal posts near to the exit gates at the rear of Stour House. I am assured this will not hinder those parking in that area.

Sorry for the short notice on this - we just had an opportunity to engage the gardeners on Monday so we took advantage of this to proceed. (The start and progress of the work will however depend on the river levels.)

The skip is likely to remain on site until the completion of works which may be a period of 3 weeks. There is likely to be a period of a week or so after initial clearing work prior to planting to allow settlement of the beds.

There are no identified risks to residents during the completion of these works although there will be a level of noise from the mechanical equipment.

Limetree Landscapes will undertake the work under the direction of Pippa Willcox, the horticulturalist appointed for this project. David Brown (who has been significantly involved in the organisation and planning of this project) and I will be keeping a watchful eye over the works in the hope of ensuring that all is carried out in accordance with plans.

Further details of the planned work will be outlined on our monthly update on 1 April 2021.
