Damselflies
You may have seen these in the gardens. There seem to be more than ever this year.

Here's a reminder of two initiatives, put forward by residents, which might be of interest to you.
Neighbourhood Matters
The West Mercia Police Neighbourhood Matters messaging system enables residents and community groups to keep in touch with local policing teams. You can receive updates on crimes, latest information on on-going incidents and learn more about what the police are doing in your community.
You're invited to sign up and become a registered recipient of messages of information, crime alerts or witness appeals local to the area in which you live or work by email, text or telephone.
You won't be bombard you with every incident. You can choose exactly the type of alert you wish to receive.
To register go to Neighbourhood Matters
Please note that this service is not for reporting crimes or incidents - to make a report please contact West Mercia Police via the West Mercia Police website or dial 999 in an emergency.

The Old Meadow Green Matters
A new resident has set-up a Facebook recycling group for The Old Meadow residents, to recycle items 'on the doorstep', & discuss relevant topics 🌳

"Having recently moved to this beautiful spot I'm keen to establish this new group to save items from landfill (I admin a village group in Staffordshire with 1200 members, recycling thousands of items, big and small), from unwanted glass jars, paint & boxes, to bathroom suites & furniture. So if you have useful items you no longer want why not offer them to your immediate neighbours? Or if there's something you need (or want to borrow) you can post a 'wanted please'. All items are gifted, no sales please."

If you are interested in joining this group, go to The Old Meadow Green Matters

Many thanks to Carl and Bee for putting these ideas forward.
