Diary Date - Owners' Annual Meeting

We remain on track to hold a meeting for owners during the evening of Thursday 11 November 2021. The focus will be the Common External Areas (CEAs), their upkeep and the progress of the legal transfer to owners from Barratt David Wilson Homes (BDWH). So please put the date in your diary. Details and confirmation of timings and venue will follow from Warwick Estates and be posted on the website.

Another reminder. If you are an owner (house or apartment), please make sure that your details are registered with Warwick Estates and that, if possible, you sign up for email updates so that we can cut down on postage costs.

Remember that owners of both freehold homes and leasehold apartments should attend the meeting.

Cadman pedestrian gate - oh dear!

Without any prior warning BDWH changed the access gates on to the riverbank at the far end of TOM. This change was at the request of Shropshire Council who requested wider access on to the land for its maintenance machinery. Most of you will have already discovered the shortcomings of these replacement gates and their locking mechanism. We have been told by BDWH that it will be altering the gates to include a proper pedestrian lock and a mechanism to anchor the gates in place.

Main gates - we're working on them

Works are planned on the main entry gates to make them run more smoothly. It is likely that we may have to install a wheel and track system to improve the function of the gates.

Community WhatsApp group - Come and join us

A reminder that we have a WhatsApp Group at TOM open to all residents which acts as an information exchange and a support system for anyone who may need eg personal assistance, a recommendation for a tradesperson or general information relating to TOM. To join this group Contact Us

For those users already signed up, a reminder that it is not always necessary to "reply all" if you are in dialogue with just one or two people and please be mindful about making comments eg about a group member being away from their home. Also, please use your name rather than a pseudonym and if possible include a recent image of yourself alongside your details to help us to recognise one another when we meet in the street.
